Go-To Sources

There are a couple of places I visit on a daily basis for NFL news. Aside from using web aggregators and feed readers, these are the vital sources that keep me informed. Here’s a quick list (appropriately categorized and in alphabetical order because I’m a nerd like that):

NFL NEWS:

Mac’s Football Blog – The guy doesn’t make any money for his reporting, analysis, or insight, but his information is just as good (if not better) as anyone else out there. Do yourself a favor and bookmark his page.

Pro Football Talk – The rumor mill speaks for itself. Mike Florio has built an empire, and his wit and sense of humor make the reporting even more entertaining.

PACKERS NEWS:

– CheeseheadTV – Just in case you missed it, Brian Carriveau has left behind the comfortable confines of Railbird Central and joined the good folks over at CheeseheadTV. He also brought his Daily Links with him. He makes an already great site even better.

JSOnline Packers Blog – With video, analysis, and notes, this website does it all and does it well.

The Packers Lounge – Alex has created the comprehensive Packers website. He is never afraid to speak his mind or try new things to improve the site.

VIKINGS NEWS:

The Daily Norseman – The main blogger, Christopher Gates, does a great job of balancing news and opinion. The site is especially good in the offseason because of the chatter in the comment sections.

The Vikings Gab – Adam (and some others) over at the Gab are quite prolific. Their content is worthwhile and they consistently live up to their billing as “The Definitive Minnesota Vikings Blog.”

– Vikings.com blog – Besides it being the team’s official blog, Mike Wobschall earns his money with the sheer number of posts he produces.

By no stretch of the imagination is this list complete. There are a plethora of really good NFL websites out there. This is just a quick take on where I go every morning. If blogging was my full time job, this list would be much, much longer.
