Buy Vikings Tickets, See New Turf
Minnesota Vikings single-game tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 28, starting at 9 a.m. at the Vikings ticket office at the Metrodome. Online ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. Single-game ticket prices range from $39 – $143.
If you can’t wait (like me!) for the Packers vs. Vikings matchup on November 21, it may cost you a bit more than you expected. If you want to see the Packers (or Cowboys) at the dome you will need to buy a two-game package. I asked Judd Zulgad (via Twitter) why you can’t buy a single ticket to either of those games. His response:
Because they always pick a couple of high profile games to try to sell tix to less attractive ones.
If you want to see the Packers vs. Vikings, you’ll also be seeing an action packed pre-season game on September 2 versus the Denver Broncos. If you’re all about the Dallas Cowboys on October 17, you’ll also be attending the Detroit Lions game on September 26. Two-game packages range from $78 – $286.
In other notes, Judd Zulgad reports that “workers have begun removing FieldTurf from Metrodome and will install Sportexe turf. Change will be done by preseason home opener Aug. 28.”
How’s that for offseason excitement? Not only do tickets go on sale soon, but there will be new turf at the dome! (sigh) When does training camp start?
