July 23, 2010
by

The Minnesota Vikings open their training camp one week from today on Friday, July 30th. Aside from going to see your favorite players in person, training camp is filled with other activities. As Vikings.com writer Mike Wobschall points out, there are a number of activities reserved for season ticket holders, families, and fans alike.

  • Team Introduction (July 31): The 2010 squad is introduced with fireworks to follow the festivities.
  • Season Ticket Owner Days (August 2 and 7): Season ticket holders are able to watch practice from a tent set up just outside the end zone.
  • Family Football Day (August 7): The Vikings will host youth football clinics.
  • Fan Appreciation Day (August 12): Cheerleader squad will hand out prizes.

As always, you can find the entire training camp schedule of events on Vikings.com or by clicking here. It should be a good time; I hope to see you there.
