Al Harris To Play In The Preseason?
On the eve of Packers training camp, cornerback Al Harris stands to prove everyone wrong once again. As first reported by Packers Lounge at Cheesehead TV , Harris’ agent, Jack Betcha, wrote a quick note to the Packers fans this morning.
Al Harris tells me he’s ahead of schedule, feels confident and should be 100 percent ready by Preseason game three.
As previously written, Al Harris suffered a catastrophic knee injury – torn anterior cruciate ligament, lateral collateral ligament, iliotibial band, fibular collateral ligament and lateral hamstring – last season. Immediately following the injury, there was speculation he would never play again. Harris vowed to be back. And now, a mere eight months removed from injury, Harris’ doctors and trainers are “blown away by his progress.”
When training camp begins on Saturday, Al Harris will be there. And by week 3 of the preseason, he will be ready to prove us wrong yet again.
