Packers Sign Bryan Bulaga
As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Packers and Bryan Bulaga have agreed to terms. The offensive tackle out of Iowa signed a five year deal worth $14.75 million with $8.76 million guaranteed.
The former Hawkeye stands at 6’5″ and weighs in at 314 pounds. A second-team All American selection in 2009 earned him a first-round (#23) selection in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Bulaga is slated to be the heir apparent to current Packers left tackle Chad Clifton. With Clifton aging, his durability has declined. The 11th year veteran has not completed an entire season since 2007. Given Clifton’s injury history, the Packers are more than likely to get a glimpse of their future left tackle, Bryan Bulaga, this season.
