Bowl With Greg Lewis & The Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Greg Lewis is hosting a charity bowling event on Friday, September 17, 2010. Lewis and his wife Tamika are teaming up with other Vikings players to raise money for the Smile Network and the Angel Foundation. The Angel Foundation assists families who have been “touched by cancer by providing hope and stability through education, support, and emergency financial assistance.”
The charity bowling event will take place at Brunswick Zone in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Participants will have time to chat with their favorite Vikings players, do some bowling, and bid on items in a silent auction. According to Greg Lewis’ twitter account, the players in attendance will include Percy Harvin, Bernard Berrian, Lito Sheppard, Sidney Rice, and Jamarca Sanford. And based on the Vikings players charitable pasts, you can probably count on more players making an appearance.
In order to roll with the Vikings for charity, you must pre-register. You can send your entry fee to the following address by Friday, September 10:
PO Box 44981
Eden Prairie, MN 55344
