Brett Favre A “Game Time” Decision?

Brett Favre’s injured elbow caused him to miss some throws in Monday night’s loss to the New York Jets. Now that same elbow may cause him to miss a start for the first time in his career.

Although Favre practiced Thursday on a limited basis, Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell told reporters that a decision on whether or not Favre will play Sunday “could go up to game time.”

Despite Favre stating this week that he doesn’t “want to play just to play,” it’s safe to assume he will be making his 290th consecutive regular season start. Given Favre’s history, I think his arm would have to fall off in order for him to miss a game.

So Favre is technically in danger of missing Sunday’s game, but I wouldn’t bet against the three-time MVP.
