Migraines Resurface For Percy Harvin, Vikings Ailing
Minnesota Vikings interim head coach Leslie Frazier told reporters Thursday that wide receiver Percy Harvin is dealing with migraine headaches again. The headaches caused Harvin to be limited in Wednesday’s practice and miss Thursday’s practice all together. Harvin’s status for Sunday’s game remains unclear.
Harvin wasn’t the only Vikings star to miss practice this week. Running back Adrian Peterson (ankle), defensive end Ray Edwards (ankle), and guard Steve Hutchinson (thumb) have not seen the practice field at all this week. Frazier said he anticipates reevaluating the players on Friday.
“We’d like to get a gauge as to how far away they are,” said Frazier.
Depending on how the trio reacts to Friday’s practice session, all three players could be game-time decisions at best. What once looked like a favorable matchup against the Buffalo Bills at home this weekend, could prove much more difficult without four of the team’s best players.
