Packers Head To The Middle East

February 15, 2011

After the grueling NFL season and Super Bowl run, most players take a long, much needed vacation. Some players head to tropical beaches, some return home to spend time with their families for some rest and relaxation. What do Jarrett Bush, Daryn Colledge, Derrick Martin, Nick McDonald, Frank Zombo and (former player) William Henderson do? They head to the Middle East.

Flanked by assistant equipment manager Tom Bakken and head athletic trainer Pepper Burruss, the group of players are on “a Navy MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) trip, spending time with troops in the Middle East.”

The trip is just getting started, but Burruss is already sending back pictures. Check out the photo gallery on packers.com for some pretty entertaining pictures of the trip, and kudos to these fine gentlemen for taking the time to visit some of their biggest fans overseas.
